Hi !!! Kentucky "Charlie" Boy (KCB) is my name and playing with balls is my game! I am 18 months old and I am one excited red wheaten owner-surrender that needs a fun loving home that will play my games. Reds have more fun than blondes do any day and I am here to prove it. The blondes that I live with now don't know how to have fun the way I do.
Like I was saying, I am a handsome little 14.2 lbs of bubbling energy. I try to make sure that all the balls and toys in the house are played with 24/7 and I make sure they don't get any breaks, unless I'm eating, sleeping or laying on FM's lap or outside potty, I am quick doing that too, FM says.
KY Charlie Boy is a real stinker whose life passion would be to have a family with older children that would play ball with him. He would be great to train for agility or fly-ball. He has the energy and the intelligence to do either one. He is one smart little fur-kid with the enthusiasm to want to please, but also has the true Cairn trait of stubbornness when he doesn't want to do something.
Charlie is a like EverReady battery on four paws. He has some separation anxiety, but is getting better. He has been an owner surrender twice so I think he has just cause to have separation issues. He just wants to have fun and be loved. If you are in the planning stages of getting a very bright, intelligent, super sweet energetic fur-kid for your active family, Charlie is the Cairn of your dreams.
Charlie is housetrained and does not mark in house. The successful applicant will need to agree to attend obedience classes with Charlie post-adoption as Charlie needs strong alpha leadership in his home. Due to Charlie's high energy level, a Cairn experienced home will be given preference in his placement.
